Max Factor Lipfinity Lip Tint

Many girls have been raving about them … so I got Max Factor Lipfinity Lip Tint for myself too and I have to say - I absolutely love it! The product comes in 10 rather vibrant shades; I tried two of them - pink petal and royal plum.

You can see your lips are fabulously colored and defined but it doesn’t feel nor look like you have anything on! It feels so natural without any sticky thickness. And it doesn’t smudge. Lasting power is not so great but hey, you can always re-apply!

However, as with most lip marker stains, they do dry your lips a little so night time lip exfoliating and moisturizing is essential to keep the product looking good. I would rather go through this process and continue wearing this amazing lip stain though!

So yes ladies, I am sold on the lip tint!

I spotted this novelty recently when passing by the Estee Lauder stand in a drug store. It’s called Pure Color Cheek Rush and it comes in 4 shades (hot fuse (beautiful red), techno jam, pink patent and x-pose rose) which can be used both as a blush and a lip stain.

Not a surprise, the product is also nicely packaged in a pump bottle with a silk-screened golden collar. 

Since it is quite pricy, I asked for a sample first (pink patent was my choice). It does have lightweight, lovey gel-like texture with the colour just gliding on your skin and provides this subtle glow to give a healthy looking complexion. But to get required intensity, I really had to apply a lot of product. I didn’t fancy that, I like to see the results immediately, and I didn’t when using this blush. So for now I think I will stick to my usual powder blush …

I've been thinking about this for a while and there's actually quite a bit out there that can be classed as art but is absolutely beautiful fashion.
Shoes, jewellery (especially jewellery) have really gifted designers that typically make limited edition pieces or otherwise a collection.

The problem being .... they are really EXPENSIVE!

Yep, sometimes also impractical, but beautiful ;-)

Ok here goes, how many of them do you have ...?

1 - Foundation Brush
Used to apply liquid or cream foundation. A large flat oval brush typically made from synthetic   fibres.

2 - Smudge Brush
Used to give a soft or smoky look, trace it back and forth along eyeliner, blurring it out a bit.

3 - Liner Brush
A stiff-bristled brush used to trace an exact line along the lashes.

4 - Lip Brush
A tiny brush for applying lipstick/gloss giving great definition. Can also be used to apply concealer.

5 - Powder Brush
Fluffy and oversized for dusting on loose powder/bronzer.

6 - Eyelash Separator
Use this for combing through lashes (with mascara already applied) to get rid of clumps. After rinsing can be used to blend in brow pencil.

7 - Blush Brush
Round medium sized brush for application/blending of blush or bronzer.

8 - Shadow Brush
Fine, flat brush for highlighting the browbone or use to sweep colour all over the lid.

9 - Wedge Sponge
Use this for applying and blending foundation. You can use it dry if you want a matte finish or use it wet for a dewier look.

10 - Brow Brush
This is a firm angled brush used to sweep colour unto the eyebrows.

Of course you can use a particular brush for more than one purpose, but if you can get them all why not!?

5 Amazing Bronzer Tips for Black Women!!

Can black girls actually wear bronzer - big question!

Some say yes, some say no. The truth is, its actually up to you but you can really enhance your look by using it the "right" way.

As we're already dark, most bronzers would not really show, however, blend over a rosy blush to give a sexy look.

Now lets do it:

• First cleanse your face and dry (try blotting paper to dry out damp bits) as the bronzer will stick to oily or damp areas making your face look sort of dirty. 

• Apply blush then apply the bronzer. 

• Dab a sheer gel bronzer over gel blush, or blend a bronze highlighting stick along your cheekbones for a dewy look. 

• For a sunkissed look apply bronzer with a big fluffy brush and concentrate on the areas where the sun naturally hits your face (ie cheekbones, bridge of nose and forehead). 

• Use light hand movements to avoid overdosing on bronzer.
